保险代理登记委员会响应保险业监理处组成架构的建议

The Insurance Agents Registration Board (IARB) is responsible for the administration of more than 46,000 registered insurance agents in Hong Kong.
The IARB is open-minded in so far as the proposal is concerned, provided that the following could be maintained and attained.
The IARB maintains its independence in the administration of insurance agents;
The cost of agents registration be kept at a cost-effective level as it is now, which is $120 per year for each registered agent;
The jurisdiction of the IARB be made statutory; and
The administration of insurance intermediaries, agents and brokers alike, be made uniform.
