實施《緊急情況規例條例》對保單效力並無影響

8/10/2019

Insurance policy is a commercial contract. Both the insured and insurers are bound by the terms and conditions therein.

The Emergency Regulations Ordinance does not affect the terms and conditions nor the validity of insurance policies.

Insurance coverage, however, varies from policy to policy and exclusions may apply under specified circumstances. If in any doubts, policyholders are advised to seek clarifications directly from their insurance intermediaries / insurance companies.
