The Hong Kong Federation of Insurers has set up an enquiry telephone hot-line for insured travellers returning from areas affected by the latest earthquakes and tidal waves in Asia.

"Our member companies are fully geared up to assist these travellers in processing any potential claims", said the Federation's Executive Director, Mr C H Tam.

Such travellers are advised to contact directly the relevant insurance companies if they have any specific questions related to their insurance policies and arrangements for claims. For general enquiries they may call the Federation's special hot-line at 2861 9303 during office hours.
